What colors would you guys say are the most sort after, currently and in the future?

I have barely been driving mine for a week and I'm already consider buying another one... I think I caught the FGT bug...

I´m pretty sure most will say white, no stripe. :wink

:biggrin:biggrin:biggrin:biggrin

Oh noooooo!!!! Now you are opening a can of worms!!!! :biggrin

Before the "my color is the best" waterfall is unleashed here is a quick link for you. http://www.fordgtforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3534&highlight=production+numbers

This breaks down the production numbers for the different paint schemes. Look for the least common ones and you will have your answer. If I had to really guess I would say Heritages and the colors that were rarely used. Sonic blue anyone???

But if I have to have a say.....it would be Tungsten!!! :cheers

White no stripes is the choice of FGT connisieur.

Again with the early wake up call Bony. Sleep is not an option!!!! :lol

Bony Fife is watching you :)

Already had a Maker Mark Manhattan :)

Isn't it obvious? The 40th Anniversary color was Tungsten with gray stripes!

:cheers

Here is the order from most expensive to least expensive as far as what I get for the cars I sell:

Heritage
Midnight Blue
Black
Tungsten
Silver
Yellow
White
Red

Now, Remove the stripe from any of the above (exclude heritage) and the order can change a little. Black no stripe is a highly requested color.

Be careful Shelby.....you know how the prickly red car owning set is going to react to your post. :lol

Your Tungsten......if you still have it is outstanding!! :thumbsup

Well, Momma always said, if you can't be first, you can still be second...

:dead::dead::screwy::bang

I buy red cars all the time. So no one is saying that they are not a good seller. I was just stating my findings in price range of what I have sold. What I posted are pure FACTS, not opinions.

Also, notice that My cars color falls in the middle. If I was going on my personal preference, the entire order would change. :wink

Some would call that a problem. I think for you we'd call that a "transfusion". :lol

I'm staying out of the color battle since I can't make up my mind. The only colors that I have not had are silver and yellow (no stripe).... I won't claim red either as neither car ever made it here before they went to their new home! :wink

But here's a question. If you could paint a GT any color what color would you paint it???

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...tuff one. While we ALL know in our heart of hearts that Blue/White just cannot be topped, candy brandywine would be "acceptable" (read that, KILLER)...but, uh, hasn't that already been done?:biggrin

(I just know white/orange is gunna come up somewhere in here...an' I know who's gunna bring it up too...:lol)

Jeez, if it's a Ford GT, first, second.......LAST (if you were gonna call Red "last"), you're a winner no matter what you pick. :thumbsup Me, I'd like one of each!!! :banana Especially a certain Red/White doubly signed and designed TT that was just sold at Rally III...... :cheers

I've been meaning to mention it for awhile. I love the new avatar pic 'Fly. :thumbsup

Haha, thanks guys, sorry for "beating a dead horse".

It's the color you like 2nd best. When I decided to get a second GT it was a difficult choice..

My 1st choice was a Tungsten which I got as my first car. It was really hard to choose a second color. I contemplated a 2nd Tungsten car. A Yellow & Black was in the running because I was born in Iowa and that's the Hawk Eye colors..

I finally went with the Red as my second GT.. I had a Red Toy GT 40 as a kid so now the real childhood dream is fulfilled !!! :thumbsup

They are all good. I never saw a GT I didn't like !! In the big picture of the car world they are all rare !!! So get what you want...:thumbsup

Damn good advice. :thumbsup

Red is nice. As the old Rye bread commercial goes... "makes a nice sandwich, makes a nice sandwich."

:thumbsup
