EP, just saw the post you did while I was typing. Is this Home Improvement week or what? I have my two upstairs decks being redone. They started leaking last year and collapsed two sections of my ceiling :ack. Had to get them completely redone before winter. Hope you project is something fun for the house not a necessity like my mine. :cheers

'Odd coincidence! We ALSO were doing deck work around here on both our front & rear decks. That and some other outside cosmetic stuff. THAT was all finished up yesterday.

The INSIDE stuff is mostly cosmetic stuff the wifey has wanted done for some time. 'Should be done Friday at the latest.

If this rally is anything like the last two, there will be posts to keep the non-attendees informed. Within hours of events there are generally photos posted.

Expect things to be slow until late tonight as everyone is arriving as I type. Cars to clean & stuff to unload...I'd say only about 30% of the expected GTs are here in the garage as of a few minutes ago. The PHX group has yet to check in. Makes me wonder how I beat them pulling a trailer up from PHX. I did leave an hour and a half earlier, but still...

Well, well, well.....the time honored tradition of losing yourself in the multitude of distractions is Vegas. Unlike Cali and Detroit I think the 24 hour nature of Vegas is taking its toll on the desire to post news of the Rally.....AND I THINK THAT IS GREAT!!! :lol.

Keep up the good work guys....it will make the stories that much better when you guys start staggering back in to the Forum in a couple of days. :rofl:thumbsup:cheers

Oh, I AM going to 'Vegas...9/22-9/29 as per the origional Rally dates. 'Had the 'rezervees' for months.

But when the dates were changed, I couldn't 'figger' out an ACCEPTABLE way to both keep an eye on work being done here at the house (which was also set up months ago) and be at the Rally at the same time.

My wife and I will be in Vegas the 19th and leaving the 22nd. So I miss not only the Rally, but a chance at dinner with EP. :frown I can't get a break with my Vegas trip dates this year.:lol

Even if he was there those cars have WAAAAAYYYY too many miles for a potential EP vehicle. :biggrin

I'm so bummed about not being at the Rally that I didn't even notice the fact that sky and EP are also in the midst of renos. I'm adding another garage (this one a Tandem beside the existing double) with ceiling height to put a (maybe two?) lift(s) in, and a new master bedroom. They've just finished framing the garage and the bedroom/ensuite gets framed on Monday. Hopefully the Trusses will all arrive then too and I can put the roof on by mid next week. Hmm, I wonder if there is some correlation between GT owners doing renos and their resultant inability to attend the rally?? :lol Definately no renos planned for next year!!!

While dreaming I was in LV, I took out the GT for a quick spin yesterday before the skies opened. Geez I love this car!!! :cheers
