:banana Great news , I just received my new Registry in the mail today. Great timing since the settlement with SAAC and Carroll Shelby. My day is GOOD! Many have seen my storyboard of my 2006 GT with the 1967 GT-40 on our Ford Dealership showroom (posted on forum and seen at GT Forum II ion California. The original Ford GT in the story with picture could not be traced by Carroll and I until today in the new Registry (reference page 1011 vehicle P/1055. Check it out as I'm sure many will be receiving their copy soon. Hint: After leaving Texas City, owned by Edsel Ford and John Mecom Jr of Houston in my back yard! I am elated with this new book and can't put it down. The section on our 2005-2006 Ford GTs is great with pictures of many. Check out page 1480 #1142 for a related srory. Members, The History of our Play Toys is Wonderful and Let Us Never Forget It. Tomy Hamon PS Now I can rewrite my StoryBoard for GT Forum outing III in Las Vegas.:thumbsup

The photo is priceless!!! Congratulations on documenting history.

New Registry

Total Pages in registry are 1604 plus advertising pages. Ford GT information and data is 304 pages or 19%. This registry covers Cobras & GT40s. An additional book will be published covering Mustangs as I understand. Tomy PS The Ford GT section seems to be very well done and complete as I can tell.

Got mine yesterday!

They included a photo of my Kirkham #KMP304 but no photo of my GT. AND.....they spelled my name correctly!!! I'm suprised most of the Ford GT's don't have an owners name listed.

Chip

So how to we get our cars and names in the Registry? Thanks!

The registry is already printed for 2008. TH

I added my name to the registry on this Forum. Did that add it to the SAAC registry? How do I get a copy of this registry?

Thanks

Thanks for the page/story references, Tomy. What a reference book ! :cheers

Cobrajeff is the SAAC registrar for the Ford GT's. The printing of the Registry is done about every 10 years, as far as I can tell. Being in our Ford GT Registry does not include being in the SAAC Registry.

Contact Cobrajeff for more information.

Jeff was asking for each member's info.

You do not have to be a SAAC member to have your gal included in the registry.

Got mine a couple of days ago and haven't got anything done since. My hat is off to CobraJeff and others who did another fine job putting this huge work together. :bow:bow:bow

You're right - I stand corrected!! Sorry about that.

CobraJeff, A great job on the Registry, I can't put it down! You made our FordGTs proud. Tomy

Does anyone know how to decipher the dealer code listed with the VIN? Some dealer codes are numbers and are listed in appendix 9 - othere codes are a combination of numbers and letters and I cant find a table to decode these. Ed

Under Gene Hamon Ford, Texas City, Texas #3298 is listed which is not a Dealer Code from Ford Motor Co.?

Ten years is a long time:bored

This was debated many times at SAAC. Thought we were going to 5 years at some point, but never made the cut. Technology has changed a bunch and should make production much easier than 1988, 1998.

Especially with all the new series Shelby Mustangs , Continuation cars, Kirkhams and Ford GT's. There ought to be enough interest to update the registry section each 5 years IMO. Worth a re-visit by SAAC I would think.

It is an Awesome work by all involved. :cheers

Ok ,how Do I Get Registry Book ?
Help !!

Go to the saac website. It's toward the bottom of their home page. $240 I believe.
