ok as you guys know i got my car a while back and since have been thinking of getting specialized plates for it. I am not a big fan of vanity plates, i have six other car and none have vanity plates, but i figured if any car should, it would have to be the GT.

so today i got my plates; before i tell you what my choice was let me give you the reasoning behind it. In the days when the hemi engine use to rule the day they were refered to as the elephant motors, and according to some of my older friends who used to street race back in those days they were unbeatable until they started to hop up the little chevy motors. the crowed favorite seemed to be a high reving 327 which could beat the big elephant hemi motors, so they called it the mouse motor, elephants are scared of mice. then when they started building the big block chevys they were refered to as rat motors. rats bigger than mouse. so my choice simply was STRYC9.

i hope you guys like it.

i also like the fact that most people wont know what it means

Sorry, I still don't get it?

STRYC9 is a potent poison used for rodents, mice and rats mostly.:wink but it can kill just about anything in very small doses.
the actual name is of the poisen is strychnine. google it.

:confused

The rat or mouse poison, Frank!

Good call!

[Edit] Shoot! Damn fast typers here! :biggrin

Got it, but most places use warfarin now for rodents. They just bleed to death.

probobly because strychnine is too dangerous and very potent.

Who would know that and you would have to get it down to 7 characters in TX.

I don't like vanity plates since it makes it way easier to remember who passed someone at a high rate of speed. If it was ever necessary to do so.

according to my calculations STRYC9 is six characters and when i go by them at a high rate of speed they wont have time to read my plates.:biggrin

Yeah, Bullitt, especially when you're ALWAYS at the rear like you are!

Cool Plate...

You would not believe what I had to go through to get TT GT in Montana... they said it was profane and meant titties... I explained that I had GT TT in Texas and no one thought that here... I was told that people in Montana just think a little different, thats all :cheers

I guess you could put an i between the T's to remove any doubt. Bony probably already has that plate reserved in all of the lower 48.

Read your post again slowly. It looks bad for you and me.

Yes, quite. So I recommend combinations on the following: MNMNMNM

Short of photo radar, probability is someone will process it incorrectly. :wink

Trust me, I hate personalized plates.
Used to sell a line of wines called BARTON & GUESTIER from France.
The ad campaign was B&G, love letters from France.
I inherited a car with the license plates reading:- B AN G
In 45 years of driving I was hit twice, both times in that phucking car with the license plate that read BANG...
end of story :(
