The 'Vegas airport is a 5-10 min cab ride to your hotel - depending which hotel you've chosen. 'Just not an issue.

Not bringing your car - especially for someone living where you do! - should be no plm!!! I don't think that was a "requirement" for the other two 'Forum Rallies anyway. Dave (DBK) or Bony would have the "official" word on that. If it IS a requirement for this one, I won't be there either! :lol (Ah, nuts! Maybe I just jinxed it for you... :willy)

(Note to self: start a, "rally 3: non-attendance excuses", thread per Bony...)

I'll be there, but I have to agree it WILL BE EXTREMELY HOT IN SEPT. October, Barrett Jackson time could be cooler and fun.

Allright!!! A chance to try out my new trailer! ChipBeck:banana, Veronica:banana, Charley:banana, and David:banana will be there. I feel like the kid in the Disneyland television commercial who is packing his suitcase while he explains to his younger brother all the wonderful things that await them when they get to the Magic Kingdom. As the older brother slams the suitcase shut and starts to zip it up his younger sibling says, "That sounds great, when are we leaving?" The older brother's response was, "In about six months!"

1: Start out going WEST on DEERGRASS CT toward NORWOOD 0.1 miles
2: Turn LEFT onto NORWOOD RD. 1.8 miles
3: Turn LEFT onto LEESVILLE RD. 0.4 miles
4: Merge onto I-540 W toward DURHAM. 6.4 miles
5: Merge onto I-40 W via EXIT 1B toward DURHAM. 55.5 miles
6: take I-40 W via EXIT 36A toward WINSTON-SALEM (Crossing into TENNESSEE). 469.5 miles
7: Keep LEFT to take I-40 W via EXIT 211A toward MEMPHIS. 200.3 miles
8: Merge onto I-40 W via EXIT 10B (Passing through ARKANSAS- OKLAHOMA- TEXAS- and NEW MEXICO- then crossing into ARIZONA). 1489.8 miles
9: Merge onto US-93 N via EXIT 48 toward AZ-66 / LAS VEGAS / AZ-68 (Crossing into NEVADA). 103.6 miles

Basically hit I-40 ~ 5 miles and two turn from my house then straight for 2,400 miles to Vegas!

Chris....You are right....The word must be getting out fast as to how much fun these events really are.
Mr. Bannister's event planning is something to be experienced, relished and remembered for a long long time.
Can't wait!
 
I will try to make it if possible. Will have my TT car trailered there. Will have to get intouch with one of my buddies and see if he wants to go with me. I need more details. Whats the date for this event again?

That's the pblm for some of us...there are no dates yet. 'Still in the 'groundwork' stages.

'Takes time to set up - even for our Fearless Leader! :lol
