It was a loose ground cable going from the battery to the chassis. Now the headlights work perfectly. But the wiper still doesnt function properly because the wiper motor was damaged due to the loose ground connection. I will order a new wiper motor and everything should be back to normal...

I just carefully flipped through the 2006 owners manual and didn't see any mention of this. I won't have access to the car until Saturday and wanted to see/read about it in the owners manual. Anyone know what page this is on?

I was just curious if anyone has had this problem before. Any tips on where to start looking? I hope the answer isnt "start tracing wires buddy"...... When I turn on the headlights the windshield wipers turn on as well. Also when the headlights are turned off and windshield wipers are turned on...

The lighting kit looks great!!! If possible could you take a picture of where the LED's (turned off) are mounted. And where are you tapping for the 12v power source. This would be nice to know before buying the kit. Thanks

That is exactly what I did. I went to my local Ford dealership and they matched the lowest price I could find. So I ended up buying a case of it. I dont think this stuff will go bad sitting in a cabinet (dark and cool).

Just a side note: You will need roughly 4 to 4.5 quarts to fill the transaxle without a cooler attached. And I got a good price at my local dealer for 27.19 per quart.
