Here's another view of it. AND SUPRISINGLY - THE MANHOLE COVER WAS OBVIOUSLY IN PLACE before the SUV ran over it!!!!!!!

No manhole ! Looks like some sort of wide mesh sheet. Stop the video at 5 seconds and you can see the sheet getting caught up on the underside of the suv! Iv'e hit an open manhole once before, not pretty!
 
By golly, you're right! GOOD EYE, LUCKY!!! It's a rectangular shaped sheet..and NOW it's easy to see it kinda lying across the manhole (1/2 on it & 1/2 off) immediately at the start of the vid.

I didn't notice the darn thing.

'Guess I had good reason, then, to assume that the wreck couldn't have happened with the manhole cover IN PLACE, huh! :lol
 
When I saw it I was curios to what it looked like to see someone hit an open manhole! I hit mine in a snow storm! Amazing how much the Russians are taping in their travels?
