Windows controls/door lock question

I just picked up my GT in Illinois (Jim Xamis Ford-great place) and drove it back to Florida. I noticed the window controls and door locks do not light up when the headlights are on. Same thing for the radio (unless it is on). Is this par for the course or does my car have Lucas (a/k/a Prince of Darkness)wiring?

I did a search and didn't turn up anything. Many thanks for the help.

Everything is normal.

No lighting on switches, and radio must be on to see the clock. Just turn volume to zero.

I guess I can put my voltmeter and wire stripper away now.
