you asked the question, so I answered it.

btw these doors don't mate, they seal or latch.

I'm sure that The Professor could, in 100,000 words or less, provide you guidance in choosing your next car purchase based upon proper analyzation of the closure mechanisms.

Now in all seriousness, I defer to the original post....this is something that should not have happened, and I'm hopeful the recovery continues to be good.
