Subject: Ford F-150 Competing for PickupTrucks.com's Consumer Choice Award

Alan:

Hello. I wanted to let you know that the Ford F-150 Texas Edition is in
contention for the PickupTrucks.com Consumers' Choice Award. This year,
PickupTrucks.com is sponsoring a stage at the Texas State Fair. As a part
of this sponsorship, banners at the fair are directing site visitors to vote
at PickupTrucks.com for their favorite Texas Edition pickup.

As you know, Texans are very passionate about their pickups. Winning would
be a great accomplishment. Voting started on September 26th, here are the
current standings based on total percentage of votes:

What was your favorite truck?
Nissan Titan Texas Titan 43%
Dodge Ram 1500 Texas Lone Star Edition 24%
Ford F-150 Texas Edition 24%
Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Texas Edition 9%

There's still time to close the gap! Voting doesn't end until October 18th,
so be sure to tell colleagues, friends, Facebook followers and Twitter
followers to vote here .

We'll be announcing the winner the following week in a press release and
promoting the winner on the site. Stay tuned to recognition.cars.com to
find out the results.

Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Texas Edition 35% (9,090 votes)
Dodge Ram 1500 Texas Lone Star Edition 7% (1,791 votes)
Ford F-150 Texas Edition 54% (13,992 votes)
Nissan Titan Texas Titan 4% (963 votes)

on the website poll.

Done.

Amongst the many many many trucks I saw in Texas this week during the rally, I did see a very nice looking F150 Texas edition. Although I do really like the Silverado logo with the Star as the "x" in Texas, the Ford Flag is also cool, and I'd rather have a F150.

Very cool. Good luck with the voting. Mine is cast. Ford is now at 54% of the votes, looks like the tide has turned for the better!
