Hi Guys, I will be in Houston, TX on May 4th Sunday afternoon and May 5th Monday all day, 2008. I will be bringing my Mobile Dynojet. This is right after the FFW event.

I'll be tuning all kinds of Fords, Mustangs, GT500s, F150s, Lightnings, etc. I still have some spots open if anyone is interested in getting tuned.

If you are interested in getting your car dyno-tuned please email [email protected] for information and pricing for your specific vehicle and mods.

There is a special discounted rate available for current VMP customers that just want to get their tunes tweaked on the dyno.

If you need a handheld tuner, pricing starts at $550 for an SCT X-Cal2, tuning, and dyno-time, for a vehicle with bolt-on modifications. Handheld tuner + tuning rates are roughly $100 more for more heavily modified vehicles.

This dyno-day will be held at a GT500 owner's house on the North-West side of Houston. I will provide directions and the address for those getting tuned.

To secure a spot I will need a $100 deposit ahead of time on my website, and the rest in cash when I tune the car.

Speaking of dynos, and I know this has been covered before, just where do you strap down the GT? Need to take off the diffuser and get at the frame someplace?

I've had two 1000+rwhp FGTs on my dyno, and its not as hard as you would think. Its possible to keep the diffuser on and still tie it down.

I wonder what 2 cars those were :lol

Good luck in Texas Justin !!

Yes, fine, but WHERE do you tie it down?

Rear lower control arms. Then to a point anchored to the floor or rack.

But I thought you weren't supposed to use the control arms?

Its not an issue.

Every time we dyno our car or a customer's car we use the rear lower control arms. Our car has LOTS of dyno time on it and we have never had an issue.

Completely true. My car has been on the roller a few times as well:wink

OK. And no problems with the diffuser in the way. That's great.

Ha, just a few?

I just looked and I can't find any pics of GT500s tied down from the rear on my dyno.
