Oh yeah. I participated in the local FCA NC chapter event at VIR on November 9. Here is a link to many pics:

Go to Ferrari Club of America – VIR Nov. 9, 2006
There were 2 groups: green group (Touring Lights, including less experienced, convertibles) and orange group (Touring, more experienced). I ran with the orange group. There were only about 15 cars/group, and we ran 7 30-minute sessions over the course of the day!! I had the car completely stock but will add the tans cooler this winter. Used an instructor part of the time. Like everything in life, the more you do it the better you become. In addition to many different models of Ferraris (328, 348, 355, 355 challenge, 360, 360CS, 430), other cars included vettes, Porsche turbo 996, Noble (cool car!), Ultima, Acura NSX, cobra, etc. Great people...great cars!
I am currently working on some data to propose a VIR event for FordGT members. One of the forum members has helped me obtain this information. I will post it shortly. VIR is an incredible track with numerous corners, a courage-inspired group of esses, elevation changes, and opportunities on two straights to really stretch the GTs legs!! I still need to work on my entry and exit out of Oak tree but, even with a less than perfect exit, could still hit 150 mph on the back straight and 140 mph on the front straight. Never had any brake fade. Working on my courage and skills to confidently run the esses at 100+ mph. This car has such incredible grip! And can make a novice driver like me much, much better. No rattles and no bolt failures. Ha.
I will post the data regarding VIR in the next 2 days.
