since i first got my 500, the back windows drove me crazy(i hated them)
i thought shelby missed the boat by putting windows in the quarters.
i ordered two panels, had them painted, removed the 1/4 windows and had the panels installed.
the car looks awesome now, everyone has gone crazy over it.
it gives the shelby a entirely new look(the look i think it should have had)

if you are talking about a "scoop" cover for the windows instead of the ones i installed, i did get a set of scoops(similiar to what we have on the side of our gt's).
i did not like them, they stuck out too far and actually took away from the lines of the car, i sent them back and installed the flat/deep ones instead

Ya. If they stuck out like Prince Charles' ears that'd look pretty sad.

The scoops would have to stick out no farther than, say, 2" or so to look right.

the ones i tried made the car look like "dumbo"(very fake looking)--lol
that is another reason why i did not buy any that just stuck onto the existing glass windows !!!
with the windows removed, this set recessed nicely into the cavities.

Very nice mod, and I totally agree. That would be the first mod that I do if I got the GT500.

And nice choice, I think that is the best looking replacement piece of the rear windows.

My brother owns a Saleen Parnelli Jones Edition and they put cool looking covers over the quarter windows also.
