If anybody is interested in getting their FGT on a track in October or November, there are two well-established car groups that have reserved the big track at Willow Springs.....Cobra Owners Club on October 25 and 26, and West Coast Racing/Pantera Owners' Club on November 1 and 2. The FGT is very much welcomed by both groups.
Both organizations run Novice, Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced track sessions, about four or five 20-25 minute sessions each day. These are veterans and emphasize TOTAL SAFETY and FUN, and run very efficient events. Entry per driver runs about $250 per and our stock FGTs easily pass inspection, though both also want to see fire extinguishers inside the cockpit (fire suppressent systems will obviously do as well). The November event will have alot of very experienced instructors for those who would like some help.
