I think the 2 post lift adds versatility for working on almost any point of the vehicle. But, I've always been leery of the location of the lift with respect to the GT door, which requires opening more than that of a standard vehicle. But, I suppose one could pad the lift sufficiently to prevent any mishaps....
As far as working on the cars, I guess I don't mind crawling under mine while up on just 4 jack stands - the closeness makes me feel more "at one" with my baby - but a lot harder on my back and thighs!
