Trans axle fluid change

I noticed a second drain plug on the passenger lower side of the trans. The workshop manual does not mention this plug. Should this be taken out to drain the trans also?

Yes. I pull both bottom plugs.

Passenger side plug is the magnetic plug and it should be pulled and cleaned.

If this is the first change of lube, there will be some metal shavings in the screen. Have seen this in my car and was told it is normal.

Have a suction devise that connects to compressor and after using a tube that can be threaded into the trans, was able to get more stuff out. Just FYI .
