Our thoughts and prayers go out to all those families that lost loved ones in Nice, France today. What a sad day. I pray that some day we find a way to put an end to the carnage these sick people choose to inflict on all of us.

This is so sad.

We almost went to live there in mid 1980 on an expat work with DEC. Almost every US high tech company had a presence there.

Gentlemen,

An earthquake is a tragedy. This is one more in an endless string of intolerant, murderous, hate. Enough is enough. When is the civilized world going to heed the words of the great philosopher "Popeye the Sailor Man" who said, "That's all I can stand and I can't stand no more!"

Dear American friends.

The French must remember that in part, thanks to the Americans, they live in a free country.
On their behalf, I thank you for that, and for the words you write today for the victims of the barbarians.

Best regards.

Francis. (Saint Ho).

My dad helped liberate France during WWII. He piloted Army Air Force B-24 Bombers out of Italy into France , Ploesti, and Germany.

He was awarded the Chevalier Legion of Honor Award at the French Embassy in Washington DC by your country.

The Barbarians need to be stopped ...but no one has the Balls to say it or do it..

So sad and sickening.. speechless.. we were in the French Rivera after Le Mans. It's hard to stop these lone wolf people and sleeper cells.. look what happened in Orlando.. Not an easy solution unfortunately .. I am sure we all feel the same intense anger and frustration these ignorant brain washed a**Holes...

My thoughts and prayers for the People of France..

Interesting article about a long term solution..

An earthquake is a natural disaster... this is a tragedy! How much carnage must we allow before we take action against these extremist barbarians! Maybe it's time to add something to their water to stop them from having more children?

Hey Andy, After Le Mans We went to see the War memorial Museum in Caen, the Omaha Beach Monuments and to The US cemetery.. I always wanted to go out of respect and to honor those who died there and fought for the World during WWII .. It was an emotional visit .. Thank you to your father and all that have served..

Don't forget. If you go back to the Revolution, it is in no small part that, because of help from the French, we are who we are today. We owe each other an enormous debt of gratitude.

Hopefully, if we get some balls in the White House, we, the French, and any other freedom loving people can put a meaningful and lasting crimp on the sources of these acts of terror.

Don't know what the world is coming to, because this type of terrorist act can happen anyplace, anytime. Sad to say, but we must all stay on the highest individual alert level; probably for the rest of our lives. Under this scenario, firearms belong in the hands of the people, not in Hillary's fireplace andirons.

Sorry but I thought that article was total crap.

Gentlemen,

This thread can't really be continued without delving into religion and/or politics so I'm going to shut it down. That article danced around mentioning every cause except for the actual cause and an auto enthusiast Forum isn't the place for that debate. Cheers.
