Throtl is doing an FGT build with a carbon body for SEMA.

I like that some of these are new aftermarket parts for our GTs (brakes and coilovers).

I have the Fortune coilovers (set up by GTG-Rich) and I think they are GREAT for my application/driving style/skill. 49,000 miles

A lot of us long-haulers may end up with Carbon Fiber body panels if OEM panels are reserved for auction queens.

Looking forward to seeing this at SEMA - although the title should be building one GT out of two.

My all time favourite car since I was a kid! I can’t wait to watch this beautiful gem take shape back to her former glory days!

Not a lot of fake drama--I appreciate that. Did anyone catch where they got the carbon fiber body panels from ? BMF? Someone else?

I think they are Doran Racing panels

They had to swap out their wrecked chassis as it was not repairable. Swapped for one from Minnesota.

When a damaged car's chassis must be replaced with a new one, does that change the original damaged car into a parts donor for the new chassis?

... and will the VIN of their completed car be the original damaged car's VIN, or that of the new replacement chassis?

I've never rebuilt a car so don't know and just curious.

I think VIN is that of the chassis

The chassis has the VIN stamped in a couple locations, so I would guess they would use the vin from the good replacement chassis. A replacement chassis from Ford, has no VIN stamps to my knowledge, so then swapping parts and using the wrecked chassis vin is acceptable. The title for the car needs to match the VIN the chassis was born with. Swapping VINs and rebodies are crimes in most places.

Excellent video. I am very glad to hear that CSF is making cooling stacks for the GT and a transmission cooler. No more $5000 AC condensers, etc. Of course, we will have to see where the final price ends up.

I pointed that out. They intentionally flipped the vents.
