Ive been in South America the last few weeks and checked into my hotel in Mendoza, Argentina with a high fever and a clogged ear.

Within 90 minutes I had:

A (seemingly good) doctor in my room looking me over and providing a diagnosis of a infected ear
Medicine (3 items) ordered
Medicine delivered

I called my physician in the states just to make sure it was all kosher before I took anything.

Guess what this cost me? $32 USD total.

Discuss.

Well, I'd bet the farm the Argentine taxpayers shelled out the rest, 'cause $32 wouldn't even cover the paperwork!!!!!!!!!

It's free here in the US... I thought everyone gets free healthcare???

What is the Malpractice situation down there? If your ear doesn't instantly resolve, have you hit the lottery?

Who developed the pharmaceuticals? An Argentinian company or an American company?

Medicine is overrated. If you get sick, you obviously are not intended to reproduce. The economy of Darwin is upon us.
