Wow, that's my exact car, right down to the caliper color! What are the last 4 of the VIN?

That one shouldn't last long...GL on the sale....

+1

Add me to the club...05 Quicksilver no stripe #1331, gunmetal gray with forged wheels.

Teddy - hold out for a high price, the 3 of us have a good percent of the market for quicksilver no stripes! :biggrin

There was a salvage quicksilver no stripe recently sold by that guy in Lufkin, TX. Think the new owner is a forum member too.

on the topic of silver no stripe cars...

Anyone know where the original "Quicksilver" car is these days? Vin 00003 that was sold at Barret-Jackson for Carroll Shelby's charity for $530k? The car was used by Ford for Auto shows and events and i saw it at the 2005 Chicago Auto show. That was the first GT I ever saw so its kinda cool to own an identical one, ex calipers.

Car #1350. I'm surprised how much interest I've got just from a post here. Now if someone steps to the plate, I'll actually have to part with it!! This is the first time EVER I've gotten grief from the wife on SELLING a car!!

Of course you mean ex-friends! :rofl

C'mon Teddy, please reconsider!!!

Obviously I have worked on this car and met Teddy on a few occasions. This is one of the car/owner combinations that I would have no problem buying over the phone. Teddy is a real stand-up guy and the car is just awesome. Of course all of the work on it has been first-rate too :eek

Good luck with the sell Teddy. I do hope you will stay in touch!!

Sheeeesh....Between the wife, my friends, and you guys, I'll never be able to show my face if I sell it!!!
Kendall: Thanks for the kind words....big thanks for all the work on my car..I've had alot of cars/toys and never felt as good or had the attention to detail as when my car was in your shop. Since moving to Nashville I hardly drive it, maybe 300 miles last year!
Who knows...like others who've sold, I'll probably be back.
Thanks Everyone

Notice that the ever optomistic EP has not committed to "possibly" owning another GT.

futuregt - 300 mi a year is --200 more than EP did in his driveway in '07.

What ever the future brings - keep in touch.

Jeff beat me to it ... the driveway joke. :bored

FutureGt ... don't do it.. .. for one who did and now is back .. you will walk out to the garage and sigh when you look at that empty spot. Then the itch will hit you and then you'll be talking to Bernie and Shelby almost daily. For probably the only time I will advise a guy to listen to his wife ....... don't do it. :biggrin

The rough part then, and cool part now is that EVERY day the GT seems to be part of my life. From a conversation with someone who wants to know more about the GT, Pick up a magazine and read about another, the neighbor kids that love 'em, tinker with them in the garage or a BBQ with a great group of local owners, one of the best pieces of automotive art ever, etc. etc..... oh yeah, and we get to drive them too! Do you get the idea I'll never sell them. (Again!)
