They Accepted my Offer, Pick Up Sat Morning

Roger - that was enjoyable reading those year-old posts again... Your GT is not too distant from mine (I have a 2005 Red/White #1564).

Parked alongside my GT have been a few lumps of exotic tin since 2005 when the GT arrived - but the GT remains! :biggrin

I'm sad to report that it's rarely driven.

Is it because I'm nervous of it?

Is it because it's left hand drive?

Is it because it's just too precious?

NO! It's because the "£$^"$%&^&$&*$^*^"!£%$!"£$ weather in the UK is awful. I live up a dirt (mud) track and when the track is wet it would take hours to get the car back to it's current dry mile condition. It makes me happy to have a clean car, so that's my problem I guess!

5,000 miles I think are on the dials (the odometer is broken, so I don't know for definite). Bring on the sunshine and I'll drive it, we're still waiting for global warming to start over here! :bored

I had a great drive to the South of France last year in it (this year I took the Bentley GTC) and was regularly swamped with on-lookers who loved it.
