Basically 500k to buy a lot, upon which you must build a garage (pay them to build I should say). A two story garage, as the track is surrounded by a really tall wall, so to see the track you have to climb up to the second story. In the path of an airport, so it's not zoned for living. So you will also need a place to stay or live, and about 30-60 minutes away from Palm Springs. My problem with it, even if it was free, is that there is a very tall wall all around the track. So if you go off you have about 100 feet before you slide into someones garage. Then after you do some laps, you drive back to your garage, where your all by your self and you can't see the track unless you climb up a long stairway. Then you can see the track right in front (behind?) your garage, but you can't see the rest of the track. Maybe it looks better now but when I was there it looked like they were building a prison. I guess it's nice to have a private area to relax in, but since you have to have someplace to stay in the city, seems like your family would just stay there.
Chuckwalla is about 45 minutes farther and has a much lower cost of entry. Only one wall to hit there.
