Def one of my all time favorites. If I could fit in one, I would own a coupe.
Hope that beauty is yours!

It is difficult for me to say one car is the MOST beautiful.
But easier to share my top 5: Jag Type E, AC Cobra 427, Ford GT (any of them!), Ferrari Enzo, and McClaren F1.
Hmmmm, still left out many beautiful cars (Daytona coupe, Viper, Pantera, etc.... I guess that is why we enjoy collecting them!

Of course you do Dave, you’re English.

Dino and that, no way I fit.
I wish!!!!!!!!!

I had a 72 V12 coupe. It was fun to drive when it did not have an electrical issue. Beautiful design and nice interior. I could not live with the uncertainty of the car not running because of the electrical issues. I guess Lucas electrics of that era were not ideal. Maybe the reason for drinking warm beer in England!

Dave, did you make that one from scratch, too?

1972 SV. The only car I would trade my FGT in for.

No, but the money I made selling the Merlin let me buy this Jag and a Porsche Turbo!

I happened to be at the Amelia Island Bonhams Auction in May, and was shocked to see mongrel's beautiful creation come on the stage. I had no idea it was there but I recognized it immediately from this Forum.

I built the 1/8 Scale Monogram Model of the XKE in the mid-60's. Roll up and down windows, engine wiring, suspension. I need to get on ebay and build another one.

I agree on one of the most beautiful cars ever !

Yeah, I had the model when I was a kid too! But working on British cars in the 1970’s-80’s cured me of wanting to own one.

I owned a Lucas electric British sports car for 6 years. Never left home without a tow-strap.

Repost from 4 years ago. Wife named it Hazel. So I don’t drive it much……05081BE6-1409-4BE3-BFCB-89B30D7B8F2E.jpeg

Beautiful cars, E types. I’ve owned two (coupe and roadster) and car verify that the electrical wire casing is designed to keep the smoke from getting out. Never left home without a tow rope, fire extinguisher, and a cell phone!
