Wow, wasn't there extensive use of honeycomb sections? It will be interesting if they really get it period correct as they say.
 
You beat me to it lol I was going to post the same article. They'll definitely be running in the $750k+ range..a bit difficult to speculate at the moment. The important thing is the word 'continuation'. I wonder how difficult it is to find the correct intake manifold, carburetors,...and that 747 windshield wiper!
I wonder what Mike Teske, Kenny Thompson, Fran Kress think about it...
 
I think for about twice the price, an original would be a much better investment.

 
At $1,850,000 it's quite a bit more than twice $750,000. I imagine if you have $750K to spend on a replica, I guess the difference would be peanuts to you though.
