Didn't get enough driving in Texas :lol so I joined a road rally today sponsored by McLaren of Tampa Bay. Some nice rural curves and hills north of Tampa. Here are some of the 75 cars that participated.

Do we ever get enough driving in our GT's Gary??? :) Any other GT's present?

No other GTs, which of course made mine oh so special! :)

The GT40 is a CAV. A kind of resto-mod approach to the GT40. Stainless steel platform, modern power brakes, etc. Brand new. This was its first road trip. The guy is from Bradenton. I told him my name, but he didn't tell me his. Maybe because he was so anxious to talk about himself.

The R8 was pretty cool. Or, more accurately "so sick and Dope as f��k." :) Artist and owner are from Tampa. I assumed it was a wrap, but apparently it is paint.

Yeah, because that's what I want to see painted on my $100,000+ car; a picture of a seven year old smoking a cig and holding a bag of cash.
