We had a nice representation of new Ford GTs at the Supercar Week final show yesterday in Downtown West Palm Beach.
We decided to make a GT Oreo sandwich with me in the middle. left side of the picture is road racer and WEC GT Driver Billy Johnson and on the right is NASCAR Legend Kurt Busch..

We got there extremely early to get our place in the center of the courtyard Park. At one point Kurt decided to sit in the grass. Being the kind and cordial GT owner I am I said Kurt I have something in my trunk that you might find useful. He was digging my GT blanket that we got at the road Atlanta event. Perfect for this situation and stores nicely in the trunk.!! . It even has a built-in moisture barrier!...:biggrin

I just passed 8000 Miles of Smiles! I'm Coming For You Barry!:lol !

Looking good gentlemen.

I wish we had more C&C's here in central Cali. Awesome photos.

Someone should come up with a new game: Where's Brian? You and your GT certainly do get around and meet up with some famous/infamous folks. Way to go.

congrats on the 8k+ you are truly getting this awesome car out there!

Great pics love that blanket.....

it was a really nice show. Lots of cool stuff. The typical Lamborghinis , Ferraris Etc. These brought back a lot of good memories!.. I mean Geez.. who didn't have a crush on Yvonne De Carlo...

Some kids had Lamborghinis and Farrah Fawcett on the bed room walls.. well I think you get the idea....:biggrin

Looking good gentleman.

We need to have summer here back.

I don’t get jealous often, but sunshine, car shows, and good car company are in short supply around here these days...
Have fun, and keep the pics coming!

I thought the Dragula was owned by the pickers from LeClare? Or is this a duplicate of Barris' original. ?

Ummm .. good question... :rolleyes:rolleyes:rolleyes ... If they return next year I'll ask them !! .. only you would know that.. :bored

The Drag-U-La is awesome. It was Grandpa's car on the show and was powered by a Ford 289.

I recall it being for sale at a Mecum auction a few months ago.

.

That would explain the 10 carbs and velocity stacks :biggrin

I noticed in your signature that you specify your Panteras are Ford powered. Is the Ring brother thing of using Chevrolet engines in Panteras (& Mustangs) spreading to the point it needs to be said a Pantera is powered as it should be, by FoMoCo? Gawd that bothers me (GM engines in Fords).

Last...Lilly Munster, I never knew you were so hot when I was watching as a kid. And here I was focusing on Marilyn. :rolleyes

<<Gawd that bothers me (GM engines in Fords)>>

I'm with you there. A DeTomaso should have a Ford engine as heaven and nature intended. For anyone interested, here is the Ringbrothers car that used to be a Pantera...https://www.roadandtrack.com/new-ca...3/ring-brothers-1971-detomaso-pantera-adrnln/

At least the Ringbrother's got the exterior color correct- Alejandro De Tomaso put yellow Panteras on the covers of his brochures, because he knew that those were the best looking...
