Stupid question on dash plaque

What do the letters mean on the dash serial number? Sorry I just can't find an explanation. If it is so obvious I will quickly remove this post in shame. Thank you.

H-2017
No I to be confused with 1
J-2018
K-2019
L-2020
M-2021
N-2022
