Anyone Have Experience With Street Tires Other Than The Goodyear Eagles That Came With The Gt? Would Like The Same Size But Do Not Find Anything Available Other Than Original Goodyears.

On Friday I'm having a set of of Michelin 245/40/18 and 345/30/19 installed on my X1. Reportedly there are only 3 sets in the US at present and all 3 are spoken for. More will be available in the future. I am told they have MUCH better stick and longevity than the 345 Perrelli's. I'll post the first impression on Friday.

please do ... I am interested in anything other than the Eagles. I heard a little bird tell me that Dunlop should have something in the US soon. But you'll have to torture me in order to get me to tell you more. :biggrin

Post some pictures of the rear. I would like to see the fit.

who's? Kirby's or the car's?

as far as i know, the only other tire in stock rear size are Hoosier racing tires.

Im never switching to an aftermarket tire unless someone comes out with a big sidewall like the Goodyears. The huge sidewall is more important to straight line traction than almost anything else.

What model of Michelins are those? PS2's? Pilot Sport Cups??

PS2's for me
