Filmed in Galveston, Texas last week while the crew was getting away from the public while filming auditions in Houston. John will have to answer that question? We all know John is perfect at marketing his products. GO JOHN Make that sale!. Tomy Hamon

Understatement of the century

I cant think of any other band that sold out to that level

I mostly agree, (sisters of Heart were maybe worse) but I judge (harshly?) everyone by through the lens of being a Rush devote'. They never sold out and guess what? Still doing very well to this day, thank you very much.

I love Rush. None of my buddies did.

And who was the smartest, most successful of your group of friends? :biggrin

And, who the hell is Aerosmith?

You are kidding, right? right?

Aerosmith is ancient history, old timers.

It's all about Mastodon now.

Not sure if any band members have Liv Tyler-esque daughters yet however.

I'll stay with the Eagles.

I'll stay with the Eagles.

ya we know - you checked in and never checked out.......

Sorry, Ralphie. He never sang for Glenn Miller or Tommy Dorsey. (: I was on a treadmill next to Tyler at a hotel a few years back. A lot of mileage for his age.

For me...#1 is AC/DC, #2 is BTO, then Rush, Queen, Boston, Foghat, Head East, Deep Purple, Aerosmith, Kiss, ZZ Top, Led Zeppelin, Fleetwood Mac, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Black Sabbath, Guns N Roses, REO Speedwagon, Pink Floyd, Roberta Flack (only Killing Me Softly), Chicago ( just Color My World), Sweet, Kansas, Doobie Bros, Rolling stones (some), Grand Funk RR, Michael Jackson, Carly Simon (You're So Vain), Sarah McLachlan, BeeGees

Not so much the Beatles (one or two maybe), Elton John, Eagles. That kinda stuff is tooooo slow. I like the party, rock-the-house rock.

Recently been getting into the "younger generation" music and liking it. Katy Perry, Nickelback, Taylor Swift, Adele, Bruno Mars (Billionaire. Perfect Just The Way You are), Carrie Underwood,

NO RAP and no hard-core country....just CAN"T handle that chit.
