Spy Photo's - Stillen

Made a visit to Stillen yesterday…..was able to sneak my camera in and when Steve wasn’t looking I took a few photos.:secret:

This supercharger is noticeably smaller than the stock when sitting side by side. They’re still testing but it looks like more HP and less heat…apparently it compresses air in a different manner than the stock…….and it SWEET looking.

Here’s a new clutch they have under development too. A lot smaller than the stock...less weight and rotating mass. It’s all about weight and power over at Stillen…a true racer.

I love the stock finish on the supercharger. I think Whipple can provide the same finish if requested.

Sweet!!!!!!!!

(and yes that is my first use of the huge happy face ..... for the record.)

Here’s a few photo’s of the gears……Pic’s don’t do it justice….it’s much larger in real life….look at the cell phone sitting next to it.

You snuck in when I was at lunch!!!

Steve told me that you had stopped by to check out the new stuff.

Since you're hi-jacking your own thread I won't feel bad about hi-jacking it too...

Are you going to be able to make it to our Open House show in April?

Thats because this is not the right SC, that inlet is for something else, also no adapter to factory intake manifold? It's shorter because the Lyhsolm built the rear plenuem into the housing. Are they putting the drive snout through the window? :biggrin I think thats the housing, but wrong inlet, wrong drive. It's just a Magnusson housing, Eaton TVS rotor assembly.

The TVS is still a roots supercharger and it only compresses air externally, it has no internal compression, so it does in fact compress different than the factory supercharger, which is a screw type supercharger. Screw type superchargers have internal compression.

A roots will never produce "less" heat than a screw during positive pressure, unless the screw design is out of date. The Lysholm, Autorotor, Whipple and Bell all produce less heat, especially as the discharge pressure increases.

Looks very promising!
