Delivered today—a flawless restored, silver/red 63 Corvette split window. Gorgeous design that will make you appreciate the hell out of how well modern cars drive. Whew, I’d forgotten hard clutches, loose steering etc but knew that going in. Worth it.

Beautiful cars. Figured you would be too tall for it…

Beauty!

Great color combination. I am a sucker for red interiors.

You need to get one of these.

I got one for a friend who was a Corvette fan that I stayed with during the 2013 Colorado flood. I got the hardcover slip case and signed. It was a great production. Very high quality "coffee table" book.

Ever drive a Cobra? Add to the missing things power steering :) Even the light Cobra was hard to turn the wheels standing still.

This generation of Corvettes were the only ones I really liked. The C7 started to get a better look.

Great cars and fun to drive. I have silver blue with blue interior. Fuel injected cars need 110 leaded fuel to run best. I get it at the local race track. Enjoy

Beautiful car!

Beautiful car, however trucks drive, and stop better today!
It's a taste for a mature person.
I have a Cobra as well, still gets my blood flowing.
Congrats on your new toy!
My Best,
Mark

You must have a "poor rear view visibility" thing.

Congrats! 'Hands down' my favorite C-2 - colors and all.

G.M. should have kept the split window throughout the C-2 model run IMPO...rear vision issues or no rear vision issues.
'Vision issues are as bad or worse in more than one of today's cars - especially the exotics...but, seldom do we hear anyone mention/criticize 'same.

I have an SVJ. By comparison the 63 is panaramic

And to think, the popular modification in the day was to remove that center piece in the rear window.

I would bet they are all added back by now.

I had a ‘64 way back when. And you’re right about the driving characteristics. It was/is a beautiful car, but I don’t miss driving it.
