Snell 2010 Helmets

Does anyone know the earliest date when Snell rated 2010 helmets will be available? Looking for one to have for the rally, and it appears release dates advertised are in October, just following the event. Hate to buy a new helmet (2005) with only 5 years certification left.

I replace my helmet every five years so it is a non-issue and imo just good sense. Aside from the helmets shelf life it is a good rule of thumb that every five years a new generation of helmets evolve. Others may disagree and find it a costly practice but it works for me.

I believe it was Oct. 2009.

Wanting a 2010 rated myself, I got mine just before the rally last year.
