I don't know much about the RC cars. I flew airplanes about 30 years ago and I know the Futaba system was a great product then. The thing I like about this car is the 1/5 scale and the size of the engine. For me it would be like working on the real thing almost and I wouldn't have to use a magnifying glass to see what I was doing. The guys in the video seemed to be impressed with the chassis, suspension and disk brake system. The thing sure hauled butt and seemed to hold the ground well. I wish they made it in white/blue but I suppose a paint job could be done to solve that issue. I am hoping to add this to my Santa list. :thumbsup

Careful, there's a few versions of this item - some have been upgraded to full metal gears & had numerous other tweaks done... this may be an old stock version for $650...

Comes in blue too..looks like the telltale are purple anadized shocks for upgraded version
