Secondary Market

Spirit, I'be heard Ford is also using Google Earth to check out possible homes for the new cars. They expect you to have a paved road. Better get on it.

Dave thanks for chiming in!! I'm just asking to keep my hopes up for one secondary, tertiary, quaternary, etc market. I want my kids to fight over the GTs when I'm gone!!

How many active forum members?? Raj....you listening??

I agree, if I am chosen to get one it will remain with me until I go out for the count.
Just like the present Heritage will.
Secondary market is not a factor to consider for me
Passions and dreams are not for sale.

Amen, Spirit!

Spirit is keeping it at my house

No pavement keeps the riffraff out.:lol

If I am Lucky enough, it will be here to stay with me. I have never even posted before. I have been spectating for years, but I am too excited- I had to chime in!

I don't care about a secondary market or resell. Nor should anyone interested in this fabulous car. It is not about profit. And I would bet within the vast majority of these forum members they would agree. So enough about resell...Anyone interested in a 2004 mini Cooper S JCW Works...??? Never mind...I have a set a set of twin boys with wonderful wives that some of ya'll have met...not for sale either. NFGT...FAGETABOUTIT!

I care about the secondary market and I"m sure others here as well. Thats why I posted the question. Not because I want to get a NFGT and sell, because VERY FEW will get a car and I figure lots of us here will be looking for a car when Ford lets someone sell on the secondary market. Car is mucho pesos now, but how may of my kids will I need to sell to find one in a few years and just speculating how crazy prices might be. Hopefully will do similar to the CGT, 918, P1 as Dave suggested.

Understood...and thanks for putting me in my place. Sometimes I get too emotionally involved and just vent. Sincerely apologize for offending anyone. I just don't have a habit of buying and selling...sometimes not a really good thing. :)

Hey man..no offense taken and no apology needed!!! I didn't mean anything by that. Just figured you didn't read my first post. Love each and everyone's passion on here. That's why we are crazy about this car. I'll take a test mule, a wrecked one.. ONE period.

Agreed. I'll buy the reconciliation beer...unless Pikul is present. :) This NFGT has a lot of emotions running high which is a hell of a lot of fun and anxiety...kinda of like being married...crap...my wife just saw me post this...

No pavement keeps the riffraff out.:lol

Getting in was easy but slow. Getting out was much harder. I said ouch more than once.

GT still has some of your "driveway" in it.

I started kinda slow and working my way up... bought the 1:43 first, then the 1:24 and then 4 1:18's... I am now ready for the 1:1. Oh and none of my smaller versions are going to be sold either!

I also would never sell the car, only when I get too old to get in and out of car, I will get my nephew's to drive me around. LOL

<<Guys banding together to split one as an investment if any gets an allocation. >>

Ugh. There oughta be a law....

Souvenirs !! :biggrin

thoughts on the secondary market. It gives me a warm feeling (and kind of a ha-ha to the detractors who said "why would you spend that much on a car?") to know that if I or my inheritors sold my 2006 GT, there would be enough profit that it was like being paid to drive / enjoy / share this car.

Maybe we want to keep that thought to ourselves. Think how many additional competitors we'd have if everybody realized these cars were free.

Ya really gotta love both the enthusiasm and the politeness on this forum.
Not everyone who has an 05/06 GT is on this forum. Ford asked the question on the application for the NGT. Odds in our favor.
