A massive display of Ford Power bullied everyone else out of the way at today's lunch. Five GTs (three making their debut) and three Cobras did some earth shaking with a combined ~4,500 HP.

Great pix, Gary. Interesting to note that the red 2005 GT at the far end is Vin #....15, belongs to Jim Padilla, one of our Sarasota Cafe Racers who was President & COO of Ford during the GT program. He retired in 2006. We have 3 or 4 more in our group, but the Porsche & Ferrari guys are already intimidated after today's turnout so may have to limit GT & Cobra participation!

Pity you didn't have one of those awesome blue/white GTs there.

Interesting that 05 VIN 015 has body panel fitment as good as the best. Look at the clamshell. The very early production cars must have taken WAAYYYYY longer to put together than later cars.

I think I know that Green Lone Star Cobra, built in Texas by one of the original Dell employess. Didn't know he sold it. If it is the same one it has a complete belly pan assy. sort of like the GT's. GREAT car with a bunch of super great cars.

That is amazing. It must be the same car. The heat shields on the side pipes say "LS 427." It also has a tilt steering column, something I have not seen on a Cobra.

Well, you guys are either too old, too fat or too lazy - where are the women? I would expect at least a little eye candy.

The only eye-candy we allow in our group have two or four wheels!
