Guys

I a looking for a project car , not a GT and I was thinking of picking one up with a salvage title so I could restore it myself , not looking for an investment just a really nice daily driver once done

Does anyone know of a reputable place to get a car like this , my biggest concern would be buying a car from a low life and finding out later on the stories far exceeded was what was originally disclosed

Thanks

Rob

Rob,

What type of car are you looking for? Early or late model? Mustang?

Sinovac

I am actually looking for an exotic - Aston martin , F-car , Lambo , thinking about a car in the 2007 / 2008 range

You should put some feelers out on the popular forums for the marques you mentioned.

Try Scott Jennings at X2 Collision in Maryville, IL.

I started looking at salvage FGTs (until I found the perfect GT for me), but my experience with rebuilding my NSX suggests that rebuilding is not for the faint of heart...but it can be very rewarding if you have the time/space.

Don't forget the last necessity, $$$$

And availability of parts...some of this stuff must be made from unobtainium

It's a labor of love, although I must admit when I was done restoring my Stingray I swore I would never ever never attempt such projects.
