Rotary or Bendpak?

What type of air compressor do you have in the front of your lift?
I need to get a compressor for the lift (HD-9) I just ordered.
Are those the standard ramps that come with the lift?

This little bad boy does just fine for the lift air locks - needs maybe 40psi to unlock.

Yes, the standard ramps. See pic below - I made pre-ramps a while back for low profile cars.. they are made from a 3', 2' 1' piece of 1x12" screwed together.

Thanks for the info.

I use the "Race Ramps" as a "pre ramp" to get the cars on and off!

I like the Race Ramps. Better than my ghetto wood pre-ramps :)

Their prices make me want to start a competing business. Their margins must be huge.

Did you buy the version with the 3" drop-in lip?

Ah, I see what you did there.

I thought to replace the whole ramp.

On my lifts, I don't think I could use their 'pre-ramps' at 3" step height. My ghetto ramps are 1.5" and that's about all the higher mine will allow.

I've got 3 Rotary Lifts. There are a lot of lifts that are nice and do the job but the Rotary was my favorite after looking at most of the models at SEMA and various car events.

StormKitty, quit feeding us BS about your shop and get to work on the bottleholders. New guys wanyt them. You already missed the Xmas rush.

Both are nice lifts, but I prefer Rotary as no air line is required to operate.
