Road trip to Rockwood

Very nice trip! My car is there right now as well. Did the museum, Ford Dinner and some other local attractions with my 7 year old in November. Make sure to do the Rouge factory tour if you can!
Michigan is great but I’m told it’s unseasonably warm so I’m loaded up with a freshly serviced 06 Tungsten heading home to the land of taxes and bad politics but great car weather. Rich Brooks is the best and I had a great experience here, car sounds amazing can’t wait for some seat time.
I believe I saw your Heritage there was 2 there sounds like you made some great memories there also Burgers at the Ford Garage are great
Haha dont worry about politics. Michigan is just as bad, especially around Detroit.

I have the same Renegade Verona. I’ve modified it quite a bit. PDI tuner does wonders for the L9.
I have a 40’ Holiday Rambler pusher we bought new in 2002 it’s great but a little long now for the stacker we bought and not rated for the weight. The front engine Super C has a 20k tow capacity and is a lot more manageable for towing more truck like. Both are great ways to go through good luck with your venture some day soon hopefully.
Back when I first joined the forum and bought my 06 GT I posted about a problem with 3rd gear popping out under accelerating. This was one of the main reasons for taking the car to Rich. After all his efforts to fix the problem he ended up replacing the transmission with a factory new unit that he had. Amazingly the car was ready on schedule and drives great now plus a complete service and XPipe installation should be home in California Saturday evening in time for a game on tv worth watching hopefully. Thanks Rich have a great and we’ll earn vacation.

Serviceability, drivability, and safety are major benefits of a Super C.
What a drive close to 5000 miles round trip but worth every mile to have the experience of seeing The FT Garage and meeting Rich. Watching him work is a true gift and his talent is indescribable. The car has been transformed into what it should have been designed to sound like with the XPipe. Also new struts do the clamshell now stays open and the addition of the one hand latch is great. Was able to add 200 miles to the odometer today and was amazed how much better the car sounds now.

Loving the XPipe addition this has really changed the feel of driving my GT , it’s now in the presence with some amazing cars at the Cobra Experience in Martinez Ca for the month of March with the Holman-Moody 1966 LeMans car owning and sharing these cars is such an honor and amazing experience.

Completely agree with your thoughts on the x pipe.
Sound is subjective of course, some like it quieter, some like it louder.
I'm grateful to Ford and aftermarket suppliers for making the switch so easy.
