Reliable put 2 stone chips in my GT. How?

They were not there when I dropped it at the Canton Mi depot. If they did not drive it, how did the chips get on the car. They are right in front of the rear tire. One enclosed transport from Michigan to Lake Havasu. I noticed them at 4am so there is no way the two check in guys and myself would have missed them.

Plus, why does this car get stone chips so easy? If a good repair is done, will it be noticable?

This is a silly question, and no offense intended, but did the odometer show whether and additional miles (or 1/4 mile runs...) had been put on the car after you dropped it off?

Or do you suspect that they shipped it 'un-enclosed' for a stretch?
