Rear view mirror power and ground

Hello Forum.

I am hooking up my radar detector to the rear view mirror and can't figure out which line is the power and which line is the ground. There are three wires. One all black on the far right. One back with a white stripe on the far left and one right next to this wire that is black with a blue stripe.

Can anyone help. I did a search, but the wires I saw in the posts where different colors than what I have.

I believe the pink wire is hot (switched with the ignition) and black is ground. There is a third wire there but I forget what it is connected too, probably the self-destruct function so don't make a mistake.

A buddy of mine makes the rear view mirrors for V1/Escort radar detectors. If you want one, let me know… he will cut you a deal. I installed one on my car a while back (when I had a car). It's an odd ball mirror size so it wasn't his favorite to work on.

Got it. Thanks everyone. Yes, no multi-meter, I'd end up doing something wrong and blowing the car up like Fubar warned.
