rear deck problem

I've got a problem with the fitment of the rear deck. If looking at the car from the rear the right side of the rear part of the deck is higher than the left side.I've followed the instructions in the service manual which says to loosen the hinge bolts just enough to allow movement,but this does not allow the deck to "twist" which is what it has to do.anybody have this problem. If so what can be done.

Have you tried loosening the bolts both sides of the deck and trying, if you dont you will be trying to twist the deck.

The opp side may need to come up a little to even out the spacing.

Are you talking about the rear fascia being tilted or the clamshell?

Are both latches fully closed?

Hi Rick, I had this problem - but I had Roush fix it here in the UK. I think getting that alignment right is a very tricky job as you wouldn't want any part rubbing....
