Rear Clamshell Outer Vent. (RH)?

Dan, 3D printing keeps getting better and smoother, and the material options are stronger and more heat resistant than the original ABS plastic.

The value of the car is immaterial. Who doesn't like saving money? Frugal habits are how most of us got to the position of owning these cars. FYI, I already have the aluminum vents that I bought from John T years ago. ;)

I don't know how you'd get the smooth finish 3d printing to be able to sand and paint with out having a ton of hours in them.. We have a great option with the billet, even if the price goes up on them, they are hardly more than the oem ones were before they were obsolete. I just checked and the left rear side vent is 800 list price. then times 2..

If anyone can send me the CAD files for the upper (black) vents, I'll take a stab at 3D printing them.

Contrary to popular belief, there are many engineering and carbon fiber composite 3d printing filaments that can withstand the heat and not warp.

Definitely watching this thread.
