Initial showing of Ranger Raptor looking interesting. Look forward to seeing a proper US version to augment the current F150. Believe that powertrain selection will be key to success in this market.

I assume it will have Fox shocks like the big brother. Be nice to elbow out the Chevy, and take over the DSSV shocks from the Colorado "raptor" thingy (what ever its called).

I can’t see the diesel being only U.S. engine.

Does it have at least 48" between the wheel wells in the pickup bed? If so, I want one. If not, I'll pass.

The good news is it should fit in a car wash, unlike big brother.

Yessss! I just saw that this morning. I would love to be able to offroad that instead of my full size pick up truck. Would make things a lot more enjoyable on the tighter trails. Hope it is coming to the US!

Hoping for stronger engine choices + a higher towing capacity! And then, I'm in!

That Colorado has some interesting technology but in my opinion, not a great looking vehicle aside from that.

This baby Ford Raptor could be HUGE, if done right. I'm confident Ford knows the Formula from their current Raptor. Just downsize it 25% so we can daily drive it and offroad it too.

Cool looking truck. Any ideas on why the reveal outside the US and why no availability in the US to date?

Ford doesn't want to lose sales of F-150 to the Ranger.

Better to lose sales to yourself than to lose them to GM.

Yeah, as Andy Grove used to say, if you don't cannibalize your own sales, your competition will.

I hope ford builds a version of the ranger raptor for the US. I had the '17 F150 Raptor, just didn't like the size, more of a midsize guy.

I really like this truck but I'm guessing the price will be up there close to the F150 Raptor or at least the price of a loaded F150. If it were me, I'd like to see an F350 Raptor. that would be a monster!

They've got to bring it :biggrin- Otherwise what's Ford's answer to the Tacoma TRD Pro? GM's Colorado is an OK/good truck but considering re-sale and durability if falls short of the Tacoma.

Pardon me please if posted earlier.

Bummer.
Looks like the Ranger Raptor isn’t coming to the USA anytime soon.

I really hope fox jumps in and offers some good shocks for the ranger.
