Rally 11 Trailer Parking ?

The Rally thread is getting really long. Has trailer parking been discussed? I wonder if there will be space at the track? I'm sure DBK is on it !! :biggrin
 
There is plenty of space at the track, but I think it is unprotected. the good stuff will be taken by the race teams.
 
Jeff Mosing, Mike's brother owns petrol lounge in Austin. He has volunteered some space for trailer parking. I'll check to see the best method to contact Petrol Lounge and let us know how many spaces are available.
 
I need a space also.
 
I think Jeff said he could handle around seven trailers in his secure area which is about 15 minutes from the hotel
 
I'd like a space if there's one still available. I've tried asking the hotel about space but can't seem to find anybody knowledgeable. I think I read where Hennessy offered space and said he had plenty, however it's 100 miles from the track.
 
Did all of you check the "Need trailer parking" box when you registered for the rally?

If yes, I think you can safely assume there will be trailer parking for you.

Not sure if I checked the trailer box when registering or not because we were not originally bringing a trailer, but we are are now for sure so we appreciate the effort DBK and others are putting in for finding spots. :thumbsup

Jeff Mosing, Mike's younger brother. The race car driver from Daytona and the guy that made me puke at COTA.
 
What Frank sez. Not sure if DBK is coordinating with Jeff re: trailer parking, but for sure there's nothing available at the hotel. Plus, we did a dry run of the Sunday drive/ treasure hunt the other day, and all you folk with lowered cars will "enjoy" getting out of the hotel's underground parking area!

Getting down to fine tuning our plans, as we'll be heading south 2 weeks from Saturday.

Does anyone have any more information about trailer parking options?
 
Dave, do you have an address to put in our GPSs for the trailer parking? Thanks again for organizing yet another Rally.

Dave is not involved as far as I know. I am trying to work out details with my brother who is traveling racing on the GT3Cup series every weekend. No promises on whether spots will be available or not. Stay tuned.
