Warranty Start Date & ESP Powertrain care

I checked with the people in the know, and they said the complementary ESP Powertrain Care was not extended to the Ford GTs sold after July 14, 2007. In fact, no ESP of any kind was offered for the Ford GT, even for purchase.

My dealer and my attorney, after reading the Ford paperwork on the extension promotion, says the GT is covered. Mentioned specifically or not, the way the extension was worded by Ford, used as a selling point by the dealers and as detailed in the publically presented program, the GT is covered. Who, exactly, are "the people in the know", and where is the written exclusion information if it exists? Thanks.
