Well yesterday I had went out and purchased an 05 GT.To say the least I still cannot wipe the :biggrin off my face after driving it. A good friend of mine has got a carrera GT turbo and we will be heading to the local track to run em.Ill post a vid as soon as it goes down.

Real cool on the grin :biggrin and the purchaise. Didn't you mean your friend has a Carrera GT (not turbo), cause Porsche didn't make a Carrera GT turbo.

It seems like 05s are definitely the way to go! :thumbsup
There was not really any big changes between model years and most 05s started at $10k less than 06s. Since 05 is already 1 year old, dealers are willing to negotiate more and before you know it you may find you can purchase an 05 for $10k-$15k less than an 06 and the cars are nearly identical.
That certainly worked out for me on my 05...it should arrive at its new home this Sunday!!! :banana
