For my 4th grade daughters end of year project, each of the kids had to “be the teacher”. They had to pick a subject, provide a lesson, ask leading questions, provide handouts, etc. My daughter (of her own mind – not my suggestion) presented “cars and their shifters”. She taught her “class” about manual transmissions.
One of her props was a real shifter.
My favorite line was “3rd gear is not really useful, other than it gets you from 2nd to 4th gear”
Her presentation was a hit!
