Update: 5-1-2015, I got everyone's retrofit kit back in the mail today. Hopefully you will receive your package mid next week. Please contact me with any questions. Thanks again, Jay

To everyone that purchased a transient voltage protector for your gauges, I had mailed everyone a retrofit kit last week. This was due to a possible grounding problem that our forum member "jcthorne" had discovered ("jc", I owe you a bottle of Cutty!). Now when I had checked my mailbox today, the local post office decided that my mailing label was no longer adequate, so I will be resending them tomorrow. I am very sorry about this delay as they had no problem with the original order which used the identical mailing labels. Please review the new grounding washer kit in the diagram below that you will be receiving soon.

Thanks, Jay

Thanks for standing by your product, Jay. Just to clarify, the washer will preclude the need to sand down any paint on the metal panel, correct?

Jay, your a stand up guy, well done.

Yes, I installed it without any sanding and checked with a Fluke voltmeter to confirm ground continuity, passed with flying colors- Posted a picture of the reading in the other thread. (Have not received Jay' retro kit but fairly simple to source the washers out and it won't break the bank, I think I paid 30 cents for both :lol)
