Polished Engine and Wheels

Good Evening,

Recently picked up a 2005 GT with all 4 options. The car has had its engine (supercharger,braces etc..) Polished Chrome and the wheels have been polished/Chromed as well. The Car looks great, but I have never seen another one like this.

Any Insight? Car is originally from Georgia.

Speednsport has done some gorgeous polishing of wheels and such for his own car but it's not in Georgia and he still has it.
 
I saw a red one just like yours advertised from a Dealer in Ohio that lists a fair number of GTs on Ebay a little over a year ago.
 
btw: Noticed you're the newest forum member. Welcome aboard. I haven't been here a long time myself but in a short while I have met some really great folks and tapped years and a wealth of experience.

You might 'P.M.' ShelbyElite. He usually is familiar with any particular FGT one can come up with.
 
Lancer is your car Red? I saw a GT just like you are describing 8 months ago at Marshall Goldmans. I just missed buying it. Would love to see a picture also.

If that is the same car I missed buying it by one day. I was too slow to decide.

Polishing work really makes an already exciting engine to see simply "POP!" Great car and welcome to this forum. You will learn as well as have some fun here too. Enjoy your car this summer. DanielJ.
