Has anyone bought and used one of these? Any suggestions on a good brand and how well they have worked?

You need a pocket inflator?

A wallet inflator would be better!

Are you asking about the stuff in a can, like Fix-a-Flat, or some kind of electric pump?

No, these small air pumps, look like about the size of 3 cigarette packs, for inflating tires. USB chargers. Silverbullet has one that he uses for his GT all the time. AirMoto is the one I see the most adds for I think. Just curious if anyone else has experience or knowledge about them.

I have a NOCO Air15, but it is bigger than pocket size!
Height: 6.25in (159mm)
Width: 8.11in (206mm)
Depth: 2.93in (74mm)
Weight: 5.72lb (2.59kg

Looks like a great unit. How do you like it? Any problems?

Have not used it. I bought it for car emergencies. I have a portable wall mountable compressor and a compressor with 25 and 50 foot hoses for garage. Reviews are on internet though.

Based on this thread I just bought a Fanttik X8. Bigger battery than the NOCO. Have not used it yet.

My NOCO Air15 uses the car battery via a cig plug. No internal battery to keep charged.

Sorry, I meant the Airmoto. It has an 2000 mAh battery. The Fanttik battery is 2400mAh.

Thanks people who responded. I just think a 12v unit could be tricky on either of the car electrical systems. I know the inflators that come with cars are 12v, but I think USB should be safer in non-emergency situations. Just trying to be cautious.

You will find that the energy from the 12v car battery will inflate the tire a lot faster and to higher pressure than any "pocket inflator."

Normally I would call AAA or equivalent for a flat. Especially on a highway.
